so everything is out of sorts for me lately... but i guess things are always a bit out of sorts. what does sorts mean anyways?

been thinking a lot about language, communications, and cooperation. how do things work in the world? how do we get things done... what needs to be sacrificed to keep the machine moving. so i've lost my wallet, i can never get ahold of anyone on the phone, wireless networks are cutting out, urls are failing, and i can never find the place i want to go to......



the other night i walked back and forth along queen street west, looking for gallery 1313. when i finally found it it was closed and i had no idea where zeesy's show was suposed to be. someone should open a gallery at 1337 queen street. i would totally go every day and try to pull digipranks on them and fail.



i want to be a hacker because normal doesn't work for me. these systems and hegemonies are failing us. i read this article today about how the internet and open softwear movements are intrinsically anti-hierchy and i thought that was beautiful.

it gave me hope against the googles, yahoos, and microsofts that are polluting peoples desktops. while we still can't find our printer drivers, atleast we're becoming one step closer to independence. even with their corporate softwear we've found ways to share and pirate through p2p's, bitorrents, and other forms of open free cooperation.

this global movement is surging through me like a wave, and i don't even fully understand it yet. how can you understand what you are? how can you get outside of your body/community to get a full look at yourself. it's like a flee climbing to the top of a strand of hair to try and glimps at what it's feeding on.
