The "Modern Language Association"?

So i've been working on my thesis today, and I was trying to figure out how to do a citation and I found this.

modern language isn't a tightly formatted dry static piece of copy text. modern language is moving and morphing at the speed of light, touching all of the corners of the world in once instance. modern language is both spoken, written, and heard. modern language includes images, as well as time-based movement. modern language is essentially alive.

Who else thinks that the next Modern Language Edition needs to get a bit more creative?

heheh!
yes, there's definitely room for creativity in that. but it's probably not going to happen in the next 50 years. for now, images and poetry are an enjoyable alternative to academic writing. :)
if you ever get tired of writing theses, you definitely have a future in creative arts.
all the best!
