"The revolutions that count come silently, come first in the heart, come with the force of steel, because they come with no force at all. Revolutions of this magnitude do not overturn a system and then shape it. They reshape thought, and then the system overturns without the firing of a single canon. Revolutions such as this dismantle walls people thought would never fall because no wall, whatever its size, can contain a people whose minds have long ago scaled and vaulted and surmounted it."

Sister Joan D. Chittister, OSB
Former President of the Leadership Conference of Women Religious.
Author of Winds of Change: Women Challenge the Church and other books

last night joni mitchell sang away my mind

hail mary full of grace

nathan left for vancouver last night and i am left filled with memories, tonnes of new books, and vitamins. i'm on an herbal kick. juicing carrots and beets and ginger and kale, cleansing, reading, soaking, masterbating.

not working. i'm at work now and i'm diddling away pretending and clicking and waiting for 2:45; doctors appointment. everything's wrong doctor, i'm so ashamed. i've been told to hide my body because it contains original sin.

stigmatization leads to fetish.
