why is bush trying to start a civil war? for some reason, whether it's between millions of mexican-americans marching for their rights, or the mexican government legalizing small amounts of drugs, the united states of america has decided to post military troops at the boarder. troops who have just returned from iraq, complete with post tramatic stress syndrom and all. cnn labled the move, the "battle on the boarder," and was streaming manufactured opinion polls and images of desperate mexicans jumping the boarder through holes in chainlink fences. without mexican migrant labor the US economy would be completely damaged. califonia was mexico not too long ago. some say it still is. i have a feeling that a lot of people are going to get hurt through this battle on the boarder. i can think of a million other things worth battling: femecide in juarez, sweatshops, poverty, hunger, hiv. can't bush realize that throwing military might at any problem is only a bandaid solution? the root of the problem still exists, no many how many soldiers lives you put on the line.
